Both the Marc Newson Tritan Drinkware Collection and the Palm Sorona® Plate and Bowl Collection have won Red Dot Awards.
The Red Dot Design Award is an international product design prize awarded by the Design Centrum Nordrheim Westfalen in Essen, Germany. It is probably the world’s most sought after and difficult design award to win and the most internationally recognized. IN 2016, participants from 57 nations registered about 5,200 products and innovations for the Red Dot Award.
Only products which set themselves apart through their excellent design receive the sought-after quality seal from the international Red Dot jury.
The Palm Caffe Cup has won a Good Design award.
“Founded in Chicago in 1950, GOOD DESIGN™ remains the oldest, prestigious, and most recognized program for design excellence worldwide.

The significance of winning these awards?
It is an independent confirmation of the design values and innovation of our products.
It is confirmation of Palm Products’ ability to create award winning products using the values of Beauty, Functionality and Sustainability through long life and low resource manufacturing.
A common thread is that innovation of each collection is not just based on design using existing technology, but upon design using novel engineering, materials and production techniques. In combination these have allowed the envelop of beauty, functionality and sustainability to be pushed.
The Palm Caffe Cup, for example, incorporates a number of unique technical solutions that are protected through patent and design registration.
Its design recognizes that coffee drinking is an emotional experience – it is part of life’s rituals.
In its purest form it is a simple cup in a favorite café. The Caffe Cup enhances this experience.
